It is with great sadness that we share the news that our co-founder and beloved friend Barry Wells passed away on Monday 29 July.

“Barry the Bugman” was the most passionate advocate for Guernsey’s nature, talking to thousands of Guernsey schoolchildren every year. We learnt so much from Barry both about pollinators and about friendship, family and how to live with purpose and love.

He was truly a force of nature and a force for nature.

Our thoughts are with Jayne and the Wells family.

Barry’s family have asked for donations to go to the Pollinator Project and the Guernsey Motor Neurone Association.
