Our amazing volunteers have been hard at work in Fort Field again! 
Recently, they returned to scarify the thatch left behind after all the cutting and scything. To give you an idea of the scale, two volunteer workparties previously removed a whopping 22 one-tonne bags of cuttings (arisings) after our contractor mowed and baled at the end of the wildflower season. This time, scarifying produced another 4 one-tonne bags!
